A final X poll displayed in Stat Crux Report’s October 4 post placed James Fishback first among four possible Republican presidential-primary choices. The poll received 1,899 votes, with Fishback at 40.3%, Ron DeSantis at 25.2%, JD Vance at 17.4% and Marco Rubio at 17.2%.

The poll was posted by the account Neon White Rabbit (@RedPillRabbit) and asked, “Who would you support in a Republican presidential Primary? And why?” Fishback led DeSantis, the second-place option, by 15.1 percentage points in the final tally.

The result measures participation in a voluntary X poll, not a representative sample of Republican primary voters. The poll displayed no published sampling method, weighting, field dates or margin of error, so it should not be read as evidence that Fishback leads the national Republican electorate. The 40.3% figure describes only the 1,899 users who chose to vote in that online poll.
