Corrections
How to request a correction and how Stat Crux Report handles material errors and updates.
To request a correction, include the story link, the specific claim you believe is wrong, and supporting evidence or a primary source.
A clear public record
We review correction requests against the source material. Material factual corrections are explained on the affected story, with the correction date and a description of what changed. Meaningful updates are identified; the original publication date stays visible.
Minor spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a correction note when they do not change the meaning. A withdrawn story should retain an explanatory notice at its original address.
A request does not establish that a correction is warranted. If a claim remains disputed or unverified, that uncertainty should be stated clearly.
